All of our RTM's are built and inspected to Manitoba Building Codes, with additional strengths to withstand the stresses of moving.

All necessary documents are processed by the builder. Building insurance is provided until the moving date, at which time the building mover will provide moving insurance while they deliver your home and set it on the foundation.

A Long and Proud Heritage as Builders

Marvin Vogt's father, grandfather, and great grandfather were all carpenters. All these carpenters also had cattle, which is fitting, as Marvin Homes is located on the family farm.

After learning the carpentry/construction trade from his father (D.D. Vogt Construction), Marvin partnered with his dad in 1975 to become Vogt Construction. They built on-site, custom homes.

In 1976, at the age of 18, Marvin struck out on his own, building Ready To Move homes (Marvin Homes). Another year later, he also started a custom cabinetry and wood-working business (M.Vogt Woodwork).

Forty years later, Marvin continues to work hands-on building RTM's, teaching his own children and grand-children a lifetime of knowledge only experience can know.
